COSCO Vessel Xin Shanghai Delay Voyage 105 2018-05-07

COSCO has informed Trade concerning a shoreside handling accident at Prince Rupert that has resulted in a delay for the subsequent port call at Vancouver.

Dear Valued Customer,
 
Please be advised, the Xin Shanghai v105 suffered an incident at the Port of Prince Rupert after it completed discharge on May 1, 2018. The vessel was preparing to sail from Prince Rupert to Vancouver when the ship was damaged by one of the terminal shore cranes. All import cargo to be discharged in Vancouver and all export cargo that was loaded in Prince Rupert along with any export cargo to be loaded in Vancouver will be delayed. All containers discharged in Prince Rupert for inland locations are moving on schedule.
 
At this time, Xin Shanghai V105 is expected to call in Vancouver on May 9th.
