The major opposition party in Bangladesh has called a 12 hour dawn to dusk countrywide general strike starting from local time 06:00 hours (GMT 00:00 hours) on Sunday, April 22 and ending at local time 18:00 hours (GMT 12:00 hours) of the same day. We do not expect an impact to factories as they generally work during strikes. Transport may be impacted and some cargo may require a late gate, which can be provided upon request.
