Ocean Carriers to Increase Peak Season Surcharge on Imports from Asia 2010-07-22

Please be advised that ocean carriers servicing the Far-East and Indian Sub-Continent to Canada have announced an increase to the current Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) effective all sailings on or after August 1, 2010.

The current PSS as previously announced will be replaced by the following new levels:

From the Far-East and Indian-Sub-Continent to local Vancouver:
USD 12/CBM
USD 480.00/20' container
USD 600.00/40' container
USD 675.00/40'HC container
USD 760.00/45' container

From the Far-East and Indian-Sub-Continent to all other Canadian destinations:
USD 16/CBM
USD 640.00/20' container
USD 800.00/40' container
USD 900.00/40'HC container
USD 1015.00/45' container
